Imphal, April 29: The 22nd annual meeting of Manipuri Literary Society was held at the hall of Manipuri Hindi Parishad with Society president Dr Ng Akashini Devi in the chair at 10 am today.

During the afternoon session of the meeting, Sahitya Akademi awardee for 2005 Saratchand Thiyam and Sahitya Akademi award winner for translation, 2005 BS Rajkumar (RK Brojendro) were felicitated with simple gifts.

A Kavi-Sammelan was also held with Kabrabam Nilakanta Singh from Silchar as chief guest and Society president Akashini as fucntional president.
