Imphal, September 27: An extensive search operation was conducted by commandos drawn from four districts under the command of DSP Mubi at Motbung area covering about 10 villages at about 3 am today.

The operation covered Motbung Pheijang, Laikot, Molnom, Heitheng and other surrounding villages.

The operation conducted jointly by commandos of Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal and Bishnupur districts continued till 8 am.

However, no UG element could be arrested during the operation as they had reportedly fled.
