Imphal, December 24: Personnel of 4 IRB allegedly fired at an auto-rickshaw and beat up all the occupants near the residential gate of FCS and Forest Minister Th Debendra at Dibong in Jiribam at around 5 pm yesterday.

Though no one was hurt in the firing, the autorickshaw drivers today convened a meeting at Jiribam and strongly condemned the action of the security personnel.

The meeting held under the aegis of All Jiribam Auto Rickshaw Owners and Drivers' Assn demanded action against the guilty IRB personnel and resolved not to have night service from December 25 to 27.All the auto-rickshaws also stayed away from services today.
