Imphal, Jun 23: On behalf of All Manipur Die-in-harness Appointment Demand Committee MLAs M Bhorot and RK Theko have submitted memoranda to the Chief minister conveying the Committee's demand for revival of the Die-in-Harness scheme.

according to statement issued by the body, apprising the CM through State legislators is the third such instance which ironically has failed to evoke positive response from the Government till date.

Submitting reminders/representations commenced through three MLAs on June 21 and the very next day similar proposal were intimated to the CM by five legislators.

the memoranda lay special emphasis to demand for revision on abolition of the said Scheme to address hardships and despair faced by numerous families whose bread-winners had an untimely demise.
