Imphal, May 23: Imphal East District Police have apprehended two KNA activists during a cordoon and search operation conducted at Hatta Golapati area at about 3.30 pm today.

Informing that the cordon and search operation was conducted based on specific information, SP of Imphal East District L Kailun identified the arrested underground activists as TS Chochon (25) s/o HT Helthang of D-Phailien of Churachandpur district and Paolun alias Helun Haokip (27) s/o DM Haokip of Khulen (K) Village.

On spot verification, TS Chochon disclosed that he joined KNA in 1997 through one Loko alias Tongkholun and trained at Moreh and Paolun disclosed that he joined the outfit this year through Chochon, the SP informed in a statement.
