Ukhrul, December 22: Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul Pankaj Kumar Pal yesterday laid a foundation stone of a concrete bridge to be constructed over Thoubal river at Litan in Ukhrul district.

CO CRF, CO 25 BRTF and Headmen of Litan/Sareikhong and Mongot Chepu villages were also present at the occasion.

The bridge is to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 2 crores to be sanctioned by Union Ministry of Surface Road and Transport and it is to be implemented by the 84 RCC 25 BRTF.
