Imphal, April 22:
People for Animals, Imphal West District has expressed gratitude to Jeevan Luwangthem and Naorem Bungbung of Keirao Wangkhem for handing over a baby Leopard cat (Scientific name: Prionailures bengalensis, Local name: Keijenglang) which is included in Schedule I of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.The animal was handed over to the animal rights body on April 21 and it would be kept under the observation of Zoological Garden, Iroisemba, informed PFA unit chairperson RS Jasmin in a statement.
