Imphal, February 22: Reacting to the report published under the caption, �Support to Prof Kamei� in the February 21 edition of this paper, the LJP candidate in Nungba AC, Khamkhogin Thangjom has clarified that the report was wrong and baseless.

In a statement, Thangjom said that there is no question of him extending support to Prof Kamei as reported and added that the report seem to have been filed by Gangmumei Kamei by forging his signature to mislead the people of Nungba.

Thangjom further said that he would not do anything against the principle and discipline of the LJSP, which stands for protecting the integrity of Manipur.
