Imphal, February 20, 2010: State Labour department today said that shop and other business establishments within the Imphal Municipality area can be opened on Sunday and holiday to facilitate the public for purchasing their requirements for the ensueing "Yaoshang" festival subject to the condition that employees of the shops and establishments must be given alternative holiday under the provision of the Manipur Shops and Establishments Act, 1972.
