Imphal, April 19: The 55th meeting of the North Eastern Council would be held at Agartala on May 11 and 12 with DoNER Minister Mani Shanker Aiyer as president.

During the meeting which would be attended by Governors and Chief Ministers of all the Northeastern States, annual budget allocation will be finalised.

Moreover, a decision may also be adopted to implement the Vision 2020 document which envisages to make the North East region well developed by 2020 .
