Imphal, November 14 2008: The XIIth annual literary meet cum children's day celebration of Union Model High School, Kapaam (Komlathabi), Chandel district was held today.

The president of Moyon Tribe Apex Body Jindashing Roel, headmaster of the school N Thomningam and Deputy Inspector of Schools, ADC Chandel Ng Esha John attended the celebration as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Apart from various organising various competi tions like recitation, extempore speech, debate, quiz and dance, cash prizes were presented to the class toppers of 2007 and meal under Mid Day Meal Scheme was also served to the students at the occasion.
