Imphal, April 11: The CRPF personnel who deserted from the Sibilong (Tamenglong dist) post of the 27 CRPF along with an AK-47 rifle and two magazines containing 60 rounds has been arrested.

The CRPF deserter identified as Ohenbemo Lotha from Wokha distt in Nagaland was arrested by a team of cRPF from Tousem area yesterday.

Ohenbemo is informed to have been engaged as a washerman in the security post.

The CRPF has launched a massive manhunt in the jungles of Tousem to track down the deserter.
