Imphal, February 10: As announced by Moramba, commander of Red Army, Tamenglong Unit yesterday, one of the persons who had been pulled up in connection with using the letter head of the outfit to demand money from the people had been shot on his left calf as punishment.

The victim has been identified as Moirangthem Yugeshwor (34) of Moirang Khunou Maning Leikai.

Yugeshwor was brought to RIMS Hospital for treatment at around 10.20 pm yesterday after he was shot on his left calf at Kumbi Uchan Makhong last night itself.

However, there is no report on the fate of one Oinam Premkumar who had been awarded capital punishment by the outfit and pulled up along with Yugeshwor in connection with the same crime.
