Imphal, Aug 07: Reacting to the report published in the August 7 issue of this paper under the caption, 'Cops advice : Pay and patch up" the SDPO of Ukhrul police has claimed that his name was dragged into the issue without any valid reason.

In a statement, the police officer said that Shangshak does not fall under the jurisdiction of Ukhrul SDPO.

The report that the SDPO accompanied Gautam, the OC of Shangshak PS and Ronald in search of the truck is wrong and baseless, said the SDPO.
