Imphal, Jul 04:
Alleging acute shortage of Kerosine oil and rice supply, the S.K Oil and FPS sub-agency Association under ADC Kangpokpi today urged both the hills and valley underground organisations not to interfere in the public distribution programmes in the larger interest of the public.
The statement jointly signed by it's president T.Vaiphei and general secretary L.K Silhou said that the public had faced many problems due to shortage of Kerosine oil and rice supply under various Government's programmes for the past many years.
Those underground outfits involved in the public distribution system should stop interfering in the interest of the poor in particular and for the public in general, the statement said.
"We have not seen the Government supplied rice meant for the poor in this region for the past one year, therefore, we appeal alll those underground organisations not to continue interfering in the process of public distribution", said it's president T.Vaiphai.
