Imphal, Jun 01: A basic adventure course was organised by Adventure Academy of Manipur (ADAM) at its training centre of Longa Koireng from May 22 to 31.A press release issued by ADAM informed that many adventure enthusiasts from three districts of the State took part in the training which included rock climbing, repeling, belaying, boldering, trekking, obstacle erossing, river crossing, map reading, water manship, yoga and adventure sports.

The course sponsored by Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Manipur was assisted by commander of 9 Sector AR Brig PK Kayastha by providing tents, water reservoir, medical facilities etc.

Moreover BRTF supplied drinking water, it mentioned.

Villagers of Longa Koireng including its chief extended also their cooperation to make the course a success, it added.
