Imphal, February 19: Prizes were distributed today to the winners of 30th Kha Manipur Drama Festival organised by Langmeidong Dramatic Union (LDU) in collaboration with Manipur State Kala Akademi.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Minister of Art and Culture, Ph Parijat as chief guest and president of LDU, A Nandakishore as functional president. In the festival participated by 10 different troupes, the award for best production was bagged by Rajkumari houseki Tamna Lai of Lilong Youth Dramatic Union, while the prizes for second best and third best production were won by Eina Lanbani of Art and Culture Performing Academy (ACPA), Thongju and Nongma Nungmidang of Solar Artist Union (SAU), Keirak respectively.

Moreover, the award for best director was bagged by Gunindro Chabungbam of ACPA for the play Eina Lanbani as the best actress was award was won by Rita Pibiya of MSNM, Takhel Laikai in the play Huimadol Leima and the best actor award was grabbed by Thongam Naba for his role as DSP Birchandra in Eina Lankhibani.
