Imphal, October 03: Local club volunteers and Meira Paibis of the localities on either sides Tiddim Road today took out a rally against drug and alcoholism and later handed over a large quantity of food items including rice and cereal to the organisers of the month-long free De-Addiction Residential Camp at the project office of People for Animal, Moidangpokpi.

The camp is being organised under the auspices of Committee for Drug Abuse Prevention (CODAP) since September 12.The Club volunteers and Meira Paibis coming from different localities like Keishamthong, Kwakeithel, Hodam Leirak, Haobam Marak, Ghari, Changangei, Malom, Meitram, Lairenjam and Konjengbam were accorded a warm welcome by the members of Recent Youth Club, Moidangpokpi at the temple premises of Ibudhou Korouhanba.

From there, they took out the rally carrying along with them food stuffs contributed from among themselves till the venue of the camp and handed over the same to the activists of CODAP.
