Imphal, August 30: A woman has been hospitalised after being shot at by unidentified gunmen at Santidan Bazar under Yairipok Police Station at around 7.45 pm today.

The woman identified as Samurailakpam Sandhyarani (38) w/o Sanayaima of Yairipok Top Chingtha was returning home along with her husband after closing their shop when unidentified gunmen opened 4/5 rounds of firing at them.

According to family members, in connection with monetary demand, there was an instance in which PULF Azad group placed two bombs inside the shop of Sanayaima's father Bishanbir on August 21 .
