Imphal, November 29: Although black-topping of the stretch of the National Highway 39 Imphal-Moreh Road from Kondong Lairembi and Lokchao was completed recently, grasses have already started growing on the road.

Whether it is due to lack of quality control of the work or lack of proper supervision at the time of excuting the work, one thing is very sure that grasses are growing on the road for all to see.

It may be noted here that black-topping of the said road stretch had been taken up under the strict instruction of the Works Minister.
