Imphal, December 26 2009: Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (Manireda) has drawn up a plan to tap solar energy for illumination of Govt offices/institutions to address niggling problem of erratic power supply in the State to a certain extent.

Among others, district hospitals of Thoubal and Churachandpur, Central Jail (Sajiwa) and State Academy of Training have been listed for coverage under the Manireda initiative, a source said.
