An interaction programme between Commandant 1 Assam Rifles and locals of Chassad and Kamjong villages was held on Sep 24, 2007. Commandant 1 AR discussed various issues regarding security in 'area of responsibility', zammendari system for any untoward incident in area of responsibility, encouragement and motivation to youth to join security force, development of villages and problem of the villagers, said PRO IGAR(S) in a release.
