Imphal, May 25: With the aim to show case armed forces as a career option to the youths of Manipur, a lecture on Entry into Army was conducted by officers of HQs 59 Mountain Brigade at United Builders School, Tamenglong, said a PIB (DW) press release.

During the lecture programme participated by about 300 students, aspects of career management in general and career opportunities in Army in particular were dealt in length apart from screening a movie on training of officer cadets in military academies, said the release.

Information brochures on entry into army were also provided to schools, it mentioned while conveying of its plans to organise similar lectures in various other schools of the district.
