Imphal, April 22: Public of Langthabal assembly constituency submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister today expressing serious resentment at the alleged thrashing of MPP MLA O Joy Singh's three sons in police custody.

City police had arrest the MLA's wife and three sons in connection with a violent incident at the MPP office premise on April 13.The memo expressing fear that police personnel had been exercising unbridled power to the extend of not sparing even family member of an elected legislator urged the Chief Minister to pull up the errant personnel involved in committing the alleged excesses at the police station.

Those who came to hand over the representation also held banners and placards demanding appropriate action against the guilty police men and officials of City police station.
