Manipur human Rights Commission has asked the DGP to furnish a detailed report on alleged kidnapping and rape of a minor girl by one Moirangthem Sobachandra (19) of Khangabok Makha Leikai Part-III.
Acting on a complaint petition filed by the victim's father at the initiation of Human Rights Law network (Manipur Unit), the Commission yesterday intimated the State police chief to response within June 18.The petitioner accused the police department of inaction, charged the perpetrator's father of abetting the crime and named accomplices of the 19 year old accused in addition to detailing ordeal undergone by his child.
Meanwhile, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (State Commission), Sangaiprou has notified authorities of RIMS Hospital, and Imphal Hospital and Research Centre to response within five days in connection with a complaint petition pertaining to 'medical negligence'.
The complainant said to be one RK Nolini Devi 945) of Thangmeiband Lourung Purel Leikai and advocate by profession had appraised the Commission to process seeking compensation of over Rs 24 lakhs.
