Imphal, November 18: All Manipur Students� Union (AMSU) has decried the alleged atrocities committed by personnel of 34 Assam Rifles on the family members of one Moirang them Rajen Singh of Yairipok Bamon Leikai in the afternoon of November 16.In a statement, the student body alleged that the security personnel came to the house of Rajen on the pretext of searching for underground activities and committed the crime apart from threatening the family members either to hand over one of the son of Rajen identified as Peter or send him to the AR camp.

All appealing to the security forces not to target innocent people, the student body clarified that Peter is not just an innocent student studying in Yairipok Hindi College, but also the president of AMSU Yairipok.
