Imphal, May 18: Development Co-ordinating Team (DCT) Federation and Bamboo Flowering Managing Committee, Tousem Sub-Division, Tamenglong have jointly submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister urging for extention of immediate relief to all villages covered by bamboo flowering and for taking up systematic measures to provide means of livelihood to the villagers.

The joint memorandum also urged for providing electricity to all the villages in Tousem subdivision under the centrally sponsored Bharat Nirman scheme and for completion of the road between Tamenglong and Makru bridge point of NH-53 via Ajuram.

The joint memorandum demanded that these grievances should be looked into a redressed within next month in the best interest of the people living in Tousem sub-division.
