Ukhrul, Jun 17: Wishful Lungleng of Choithar village under Ukhrul Dist, who called up the Sangai Express, identifying himself as a former cadre of NSCN (IM) cadre has asserted that branding him as NSCN (K) cadre defecting from the IM by some of the senior leaders of the IM group was baseless and intended to save their face and skin.

Wishful informed that had been serving for the IM group and its principle without any hiccup for fourteen years.

However, after some undisciplined leaders from among the IM group took over the power and aza (Law) and started misusing the same for their own personal gain, he changed his mind for good.
