Imphal, October 08 2025: The RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust has informed that the 101st birth anniversary celebration of prominentpolitical activist journalist, and teacher RK Maipaksana will be held at the auditorium of the Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on October 11, 2025 .

As per a release issued by the RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust, the celebration will be graced by Prof Mayengbam Akshaykumar Singh, former Head.

Department of Clinical Psychology, RIMS as the chief guest.

Dr RK Nimai Singh, former Commissioner, Government of Manipur, will be delivering the 13th RK Maipaksana Memorial Lecture on the topic, "The Idea of Manipur and its Future" .
