Imphal, October 07: In two separate incidents, one cadre each of KCP (MC) and KYKL have been apprehended by AR troops, informed an AR PRO release.

The KCP (MC) cadre identified as Chignangbam Brojen (32) s/o Ch Mani of Loitang Khullen Awang Leikai was arrested by troops of 39 AR from his locality yesterday.

He has been handed over to Sekmai police station today.

On the other hand, an individual who infiltrated into Indian territory from Myanmar was apprehended by troops of 31 AR from the close vicinity of New Mangkang at about 9 am today.

One interrogation, the individual identified as Semang Haokip, a Myanmarese Kuki, disclosed that he was an active cadre of KYKL who used to pass information on movement of security forces besides working a guide for militants.

One radio set I-Com was also recovered from his possession, added the release.
