Free Medical Camp at Khoupum

Tamenglong, January 06 2010: The 11 Assam Rifle under the 59 Mountain Brigade of Red Shield Division today organised free medical camp here at Khongbung (Gangluan) village under Khoupum Valley of Tamenglong district.

While informing to the media person here after noon today, Maj Tarun Kaushik, Adjutant of 11 Assam Rifle posted here at Tamenglong said that the free medical was organised for the surrounding villages of Khoupum Area today.

As many as 134 villages have comes to avail the facilities and will be continued till late evening of people are interested, he said.

The Adjutant also said that no serious illness was not found in the villages till afternoon.

The Commandant had also gone to the free medical camp, the official added.
