Reacting to the report published in the June 2 issue of this paper under the caption, �Case lodged in rice scam,� the proprietor of M/S BLL Agency has issued a statement clarifying that he was not at all involved in the case of siphoning off rice meant for Senapati district for the month of April this year.
The proprietor stated that the cuplrits not only forged the signatures of the DC and DSO of Senapati but also his signature.
