Imphal, January 03: A hotel located behind Pologround here has been gutted in a fire that broke out at around 11.20 am today.

The fire is believed to have started from the cooking gas used in the hotel.

Although most of the properties including TV and Refrigerator kept inside the hotel have been destroyed, timely arrival of Fire Brigade personnel prevented the fire from spreading to the nearby hotels and shops in the congested area.
