Imphal, March 25: The Thoubal district bandh called by JAC Against the Kidnapping of N Kumar with effect from 5 pm today till 5 am of March 27 has been called off with immediately effect.

The bandh has been called off following an agreement reached during a joint meeting between the representatives of the JAC and the Chief Minister at thw latter�s office chamber this evening, according to a DIPR release.
