Imphal, June 11: Unidentified armed persons attacked the residence of one Haji Bashir Rahaman, who is the general secretary of Village Welfare Association (VWA) at Sangaiyumpham Cherapur Mathak Leikai, with bombs last night.

The unidentified persons lobbed a bomb which exploded inside the house of Bashir.

However, there is no report of any casualty except for some minor damages caused to a portion of the tin-roofed house and a Van kept nearby.

Meanwhile, claiming responsibility for the bomb attack, PULF commander Lasker said that it was done as a warning for defying the diktats of the outfit.
