Imphal, March 14:
A 60-year old woman sustained injuries and has been hospitalised at RIMS after she was allegedly pushed down from the bus by the conductor of a passenger following a quarrel over the fare near second gate of Tulihal Airport under Singjamei Police Station at about 9 am today.
The victim is identified as Naorem Leima of Thinungei Awang Leikai.
According to reports, Leima had boarded the bus plying between Imphal and Churachandpur.
As the bus neared the second gate of Tulihal Airport, Leima wrangled with the conductor over the amount of fare demanded from her.
It led to a heated argument between the two and the conductor in a fit of anger pushed her down from the bus.
