Imphal, December 26 2009:
Md Noor Rahman Shah (52), ASI of Manipur Police (Wireless) was admitted at Nodal Hospital of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) on December 24 for treatment of snake bite.
On arrival at MI room, the patient was having symptoms of poisoning and was kept under observation.
The patient was then put on life saving anti snake venom therapy by Medical Officer and Medical Staff of 39 Assam Rifles.
The life of the individual was saved due to quick life saving and professional treatment given by doctors and medical staff of 39 Assam Rifles, stated a press release from PRO, IG AR (South).
