Imphal, December 26 2009: On 22 Dec 2009, a tour to the picturesque Loktak Lake was organized by 28 Assam Rifles of HQ 9 Sect for 38 local students along with three teachers and 15 students from Assam Rifles Senior Secondary School Keithelmanbi.

The students and teachers were taken for a boat ride and visited INA Museum at Moirang.

The Students showed keen interest at INA museum in knowing the history and were very much inspired.

The students and their parents were grateful to the Assam Rifles for organizing such tour programme and expressed hope for more such programmes in the future for better understanding and relationship.
