Imphal, October 30: One Phalam Khongsai w/o Phoinsam Khongsai of Semol whose right foot was blown off after she accidentally stepped on an IED allegedly planted by UG groups on a track in between Maukot and Semol today at around 9:30 am was rescued by AR troops by evacuating the victim to 16 AR MI Room at Joupi where she was administered first aid before sending off to Imphal for further medical treatment, said a press release issued by the PRO of Hqs IG AR (S).
