Imphal, August 29: A public meeting has been convened on September 10 at Thomas ground, Kangpokpi to discuss the third phase agitation in connection with the demand of upgrading Sadar Hills to a full-fledged revenue district.

The decision to call the meeting next month which was intended by members of NGOs, elected representatives (MLAs) and social workers of Sadar Hills, was arrived at Kuki inn today wherein functionaries of Sadar Hills District Demand Committee deliberated on the alleged lukewarm response of the State Govt to the issue.

According to the Committee's general secretary thangkham Misao the Thomas ground meeting will chalk out the future course of agitation and Committee will furnish a report of the agitation staged earlier.
