Imphal, August 28: Denying having any sort of connection with Ayekpam Diben Singh, Asem Roben Singh, Thokchom Robindro Singh and Naorem Julol Singh, who were reportedly pulled up for extorting money in the name of KCP, publicity secretary of KCP Lalkhomba has asserted that it was only an attempt of the KCP-Noyon group to malign the name of the outfit.

Accordingly all four of them should surrender within five days.

The publicity secretary further clarified that there is no question of signing the letter head of the finance secretary Lakpa by Lalkhomba and the letter head in question was the one which had been used during the time of Leibakmacha.

All those who try to interfere in the activities of the party would be dealt severely, the publicity secretary warned.
