Imphal, January 27: Despite being antagonised and frustrated on lack of positive initiation by the State Government to translate into action the �mutual agreement� the All Tribal Students� Union Manipur has decided to suspend the economic blockade with effect from January 26 midnight, said an ATSUM release.

Ground cited by the student body for suspending its agitation enforced since January 4 concerns �election code of conduct�, said the release while asserting that its demands would be pursued after completion of election processes and formation of a new Ministry.

While regretting inconveniences caused to the general public due to imposition of the blockade, the Union also conveyed gratitude to all concerned for extending cooperation.
