Imphal, August 25: Mayang Imphal police today picked up a bullet riddled from Laphupat Tera and deposited at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital for identification.

According to sources, the victim might be the accused in the rape of a woman at Khordak Makha Leikai on August 23 night.

Spokesperson of the proscribed KYKL said the deceased was one of its cadre identified as Alex, who was in the rank of corporal and was given capital for his involvement in crimes against women after a thorough investigation.
