Imphal, August 24: The bodies of two persons who were respectively shot to death by unidentified gunmen at Ithai Wapokpi under Moirang Police Station have been taken away by their families after post-mortem at RIMS mortuary today.

The victims whose bodies have been taken away by their respective family members were identified as Oinam Subash alias Inao (28) and Oinam Binodkumar (26) of Chingmei Makha Leikai.

On the other hand, as the identity of the youth who was found dead at Ithai Barrage under Kumbi Police Station on August 19 could not be established, his body has been handed over to the authorities of Imphal Municipality for disposal after post-mortem at RIMS mortuary today.

The body was reportedly found floating near Sekmaijin Thongkhong on August 18.
