Imphal, Sep 19: Lt General Manbir Singh Dadwal has taken over as the new GOC of 3 Corps from Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah, who has been transferred as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff at Delhi.

Lt General Manbir Singh Dadwal is an alumni of Defence Services Staff College and National Defence College and was commissioned in the Dogra Regiment on June 14,1970, said PIB (Defence Wing) in a, statement today.
