Tamei cries for adequate teachers

Imphal, Aug 19: The Liangmai Naga Katimai Ruangdi, Assam Manipur and Nagaland (LNKR-AMN) urged the Manipur Govt to provide the required teachers at Tamei immediately within August.

In a statement, the LNKR (AMN) warned the State Govt that it would be constrained to launch any agitation till the demands are fulfilled.

The Liangmai student body also urged the DIET authority, Tamei centre to fix the problem of teacher shortage immediately saying not to disrupt training course of the 56 trainees.

At the same time, the LNKR (AMN) said that one English lecturer M.Gunamani posted at DIET, Tamei in September 2005 has not reported till date which has led to the non-availability of English lecturer.
