Imphal, November 18: The Citizens Concern for Dams and Development has reiterated its allegation that the public hearing on construction of the Tipaimukh multi-purpose dam at Churachandpur district Hqs yesterday was not held in a transparent manner.

The secretive meeting and the denial of participation to the affected villagers constitutes an attempt to drive a wedge among the people of Manipur to create disunity, misunderstanding and conflict.

The body also demanded revocation of the MoU signed between the State Govt and NEEPCO.
