Imphal, January 16: Founder member of manipuri Jagoi Marup and Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi, guru Tourangbam Nodia Singh passed away at the age of 90 on January 13 at his uripok tourangbam Leikai residence, informed a release of Manipuri Jagoi marup.

A disciple of Guru Amubi Singh of Meitei Jagoi and richly decorated with the manipur Sahitya Parishad 1987, State Kala Akademy 1987 and Sangeet Nataka Academy 1994 awards, Guru Nodia was also a founder member of Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and served as Manipur Dance Guru till 1988.
