Imphal, June 14: A team of Imphal West police led by Additional SP Md Zalil persuaded three insurance companies to open their offices today.

The three insurance companies� New India Insurance, Oriental Insurance and United India Insurance located at Thangal Bazar remained closed for the last few days.

Earlier in the day, hawkers and shopkeepers selling and displaying their wares in front of shops and foot paths in Paona Bazar and Thangal Bazar were evicted by the team.
