Imphal, October 13 2010:
Federation of All Tribal Youth Clubs, Manipur (FATYCM) has urged the State Government to set up a power sub-station at Chandel immediately so that uninterrupted power supply may be provided to the district.
FATYCM also pleaded to repair Maha Union Government Higher Secondary School which was damaged by hailstorm in April this year.
The tribal body also urged the Government to construct ring road and Hawa Mahal at Chandel United College.
It also urged to instruct the Govt officers in the district to be present regularly in their respective offices.
Saying that it would not remain as a silent spectator if the demands are not met, FATYCM warned that the Govt must be responsible for any untoward incident.
